INGREDIENTS:
1 box white cake mix
5 1/3 cups Promised Land Midnight Chocolate Milk
3 whole eggs
1 large box instant vanilla pudding
1 large chocolate bar, grated or shaved
1 cup pecans, chopped
1 container (8 oz.) whipped topping
Alt: Replace Promised Land Midnight Chocolate
Milk with any Promised Land Milk of your choosing
Directions:
Cake Directions:
- Combine cake mix, 1 1/3 cups of Promised Land Midnight Chocolate Milk, and 3 whole eggs. Follow other cake box directions as listed.
- Bake in an oblong baking pan, either greased and floured OR sprayed with cooking spray.
Pudding Directions:
- Mix instant vanilla pudding and 3 cups of Promised Land Midnight Chocolate Milk according to package directions and let cool.
Assembly Directions:
- After cake has cooled completely, cut into 1 inch squares.
- Break squares apart and place in a large bowl.
- Drizzle 1 cup Promised Land Midnight Chocolate Milk over cake cubes and toss lightly.
- Place half of the cake cubes in a large bowl.
- Cover with half of the pudding mixture.
- Sprinkle 1/3 shaved chocolate and 1/3 cup pecans over pudding.
- Place remaining cake cubes on top.
- Repeat layers of pudding, chocolate and pecans.
- Top with whipped topping and garnish with remaining chocolate and pecans.
- Place in refrigerator until serving. It’s better if made the night or day before serving.
